My name is Catie Minter and I am currently the teacher of your child's 2nd grade class. I have a degree from the University of Central Florida in Elementary Education. I chose this path for my life because of my love for children. Before the beginning of my sophomore year, I worked at a "sleep-away" summer camp in Vero Beach, FL. This is where I found my true calling. I have a passion for children and the people they are going to become. I want to impact children in order to effect our future generations. My class is structured in a way that can make these things possible. I teach in an interactive learning environment so that it is not just me teaching your children, but everyone teaching each other and therefore, all learning together. I am so excited about the upcoming year. I have great projects planned that will stimulate your children into thinking on a entirely new level. TOGETHER, we will be learning complex math problems, cursive writing, grammar, and reading strategies just to name a few. We will also have group activities and go on several field trips. Most importantly, I am looking forward to getting to know your children on a deeper level. Thanks so much for the trust you have placed in me to pour into your children the knowledge they need to one day be their own successful individuals!
